2. Introduction of technology/product
The SHatomizer is a core component of the rotary spray semi-dry flue gas cleaning system and Zero-Liquid-Discharge Technology of Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) Wastewater in thermal power plants. Our atomizer system technology mainly focuses on semi-dry desulfurization.
The atomizer is mainly composed of a motor, bearing, nozzle spray disc and other components. The spray disc rotates at an adjustable speed between 0~12000r/min. The lime slurry is ejected from the open impeller. The slurry is atomized into fine droplets of 30~50um and injected into the reaction tower along the tangential direction. The lime slurry droplets entering the reaction tower are mixed with the acidic components in the waste gas. During the mixing process, the acid gases in the waste gas are removed. Simultaneously, the water in the slurry droplets will evaporate, making the by-products after the reaction a dry powder. A bag filter is usually arranged behind the desulfurization tower, and the materials can be recycled.

- Atomizer rotation speed 0~12000r/min
- Lime slurry flow: 0 ~ 30 m3/h
- Droplet size of the lime slurry after atomization: 30~50um;
- The residence time of lime slurry droplets and exhaust gas in the reaction tower is more than 20s;
- Temperature difference of exhaust gas entering and leaving the reaction tower: △t≈50℃~60℃;
- The desulfurization efficiency: more than 90%;
- Ca/S≈1.8.
4. Technical/Product Features
- The atomized particles produced by the rotary atomizer are fine and uniform, and are suitable for a wide range of processing volumes.
- Insensitive to clogging.
5. Application examples
(1) Waste incineration: tail gas treatment (TGT)
As of November 2017, SHAT rotary atomizer has more than 180 engineering achievements in waste incineration power plants. SHAT is responsible for providing the entire process package of waste incineration + exhaust gas treatment and the supply of key system equipment (such as ShatomizerⓇ, a rotary atomizer).
(2) Coke oven: Flue Gas Cleaning (FGC)
SHAT rotary atomizer has been applied in Shanxi coking, Shanxi Wangzhuang pig iron and other projects in coke oven flue gas treatment, and the effect is ideal.
